Hi guys! On this page you will find a diary of every day (hopefully, while I’m there),  Photos and other not-so-cool cool things!

Day 1 (In Tromsø [And times before])

I am writing this on day two, and I kinda forgot what happened. But here are the basics:

I was extremely groggy, because I had flown 23 hours in four days, two of those in Oslo, where we stayed for a rest (and sleep!) and it was a beautiful town, but I didn’t notice much of it, I suppose, since I was so tired the walls started bouncing the floor started swaying at 2 in the afternoon, and by dinnertime it was extremely hard to keep my eyes open. And you wondered why I wanted to get to sleep at the sleepover, Alison and all the others! And I hardly sleep on planes, and there was jet lag to think about and so I got to Tromsø exhausted. The house is absolutely cool, awesome and weird. I’ll put some photos on here eventually. Oh, and another thing about Tromsø, it only has a few hours of daylight, so it is starting to get dark by 4 o’clock. So I as I am writing, the sky i s pitch black and it is only 5. So on day 1 we went to the supermarket, Kittens (My sister) blogged, I read, and we went to bed. And I slept like an human shaped, quite tired stone.

Day 2

Day 2 is the day I wrote day 1, and it is day 2 now, so I shall give you more details then on Day 1. Probably.  So woke up at my Storm Trooper alarm clock (See why this house is cool!), and looked out the window, it had obviously snowed last night. I was happy there was new snow to throw at Kittens, but sad there wasn’t an actual snow storm, as I had never seen or been in one before. So I go up, and Kittens got up to, and we spent two hours on the Ipad and our DSs. Then our my mum found us, and so that was when the day started. So to spare you the boring bits, for example the more hours spent on the games, eventually we did get outside. Mum and Dad said we had to go out so we did. Later I’ll put on photos of our snowball fight. So we went to the gym, Mum loves to run, and I expected we would go in, instead Mum just asked questions about Daily Passes and childcare. So then we just did the shopping, and wen out for lunch. That was basically our day, and I am glad it is over so I can go to sleep!

Day 3:IMG_4087

See Rose, I can build a snowman! With a lot of help and effort. It was snowing all day, so this was our only chance to go out. We did a snowball fight and, as you can see, we built a snowman! Mum wanted to go to the gym, but the rest of the family didn’t want to, and she had a cold, so we didn’t go. The snow will take a little getting used to, I think.

Day 4:

I don’t think we did much on Day 4,  I think we just kinda just lounged about. The reason I’m saying I think is because I am writing this on Day 7. But I did get presents for my friends, but just saying, don’t expect something major, as I only had 50 bucks so yeah. But Ali, since It’s your birthday, I will get you something big ( I hope ) and all others, don’t get jealous! I think that wraps up Day 4,

Day 5:

On day 5 it was the day before dog sledding, but surprising we did not spend the day lounging about. We went up this cable car, and we got to the top, and we walked around the top a bit, then we go cold and went inside. We then had extremely nice hot chocolate, and delicious strawberry cheesecake. We also had a yummy hotdog. The cablecar only ran every 30 minutes, and we missed two of them so we got stuck up there for a hour and a half, so I read my book. I really want to get the dog sledding, so

Day 6:

Day 6 was dogsledding day, so we got up a 7 o’clock ( yawn ) and met the dog sledders at the Raddison Blu Hotel. We spent a very long time trying to find it, but I won’t go into that. So when we got there the people said that we were too small to have the right gear so they gave us ( me and my sister) mittens and wrapped a coat each around us. At the end of the post I’ll put on a picture, I bet I look ridiculous. As for the actual sledding, I’ll put on a few pictures I took too. It was really fun, I was lying down ( In the sled ) ,and dad was standing up. Our dogs were so fast, Dad had to keep the break on nearly the entire time. We spent I think, 3 hours sledding, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Especially the hills, when we bumped down I got a sore but and a huge smile on my face. After it finished, I go to pat the dags, and there was this one called Luna than kept on jumping on me and liking my face. Then I lost my balance, and fell over backwards, and she kept liking my face. I also met Scooby, Shaggy, Goofy, Action, Alaska, Amy, Britney, Whitney, Balto, Austin, Aurora, Jagger, Bruce and Pluto and that is all  I remember, but there were about 70 dogs in total. And they were all sooo cute!

Day 7:

Day 8:

I am writing this on day 11 (Sorry for the delay),  so all I remember is going out for lunch. We went to the Bardus Bistro, and there was a really nice Australian man, of whom will come up later. Just remember, Mum and Dad made friends with him. Anyway, the food was really nice, one of the best burgers I have had. Dad had a cod tongue ( A fish tongue ) and it was actually nice! That is all I remember of Day 7,

Day 9:

It was sooo icy, that when me and Dad went out to the supermarket,  I fell and slipped on my stomach. It did’t hurt, because it was so icy there was nothing to cut/hurt myself on, but still, I do not advise it. We stayed home there rest of the day, in till the guy from the bistro asked us if we wanted to have dinner with him and his family. We said yes so we had dinner and watched movies all night.
