Rabbits

Rabbits are animals.  Their appearance is always difference, sometimes they’ll be multicoloured or sometimes just a plain white or grey, they may have brown eyes or red, sometimes they come really tiny or large and strong,  and some bunnies have floppy ears and some have straight ears.  Rabbits/Bunnies are capable of scratching and biting, a form of defending themselves from what appears danger.  Rabbits/Bunnies arre much stronger and powerful than most humans assume, often a strong bread can come to fend for itself in the wild, and protect itself from dangers.  They are quite wise, they realize when something is about to attack them, or putting them in danger.  Rabbits/Bunnies eat fruit, vegetables, hay and grains, though you should ask your local vet to give you a list of what they can eat, because they are permitted from eating few vegetables.  They drink water from these small water bottles, your local vet may give you powder to apply to your Rabbits/Bunnies water, it depends on the Rabbits/Bunnies breed if it gets the powdery medicine.

Cats

You may think Cats as the fluffy animals next door. But there are also Tigers, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards and Jaguars. So on this page i’m concentrating on the biger cats. So I’ll start with the lions. The lion is one of the 4 big cats. They are a member of the feline family. The lion is the second largest cat after the tiger. They curently have habitats in sub-saharan Africa and Asia. The lions in  North and Southwest Africa vanished ages ago. The lion is vunrable.(Threatened). Now I shall tell you about Tigers. They are native to asia, but can be found in countries such as china.Tigers have a body made for fast movement and grace. There are 6 species of Tiger. Bengal Tiger, Siberian Tiger, Sumatran Tiger, Malayan tiger, Indochinese tiger, South China tiger. The Caspian Tiger, The Bali Tiger and the Balinese Tiger are extinct. Cheaters, now. Cheaters are the fastest land animal. Cheaters are the only big cat that can’t roar. They can purr, though. Cheaters have amazing eyesight. Leopards next. Their scientific name is Panthera pardus. Basically all species of leopard outside of Africa are endangered. Most of them live in sub-Saharan Africa. They sometimes camouflage in the trees and pounce on their prey while hunting. They are immensely strong so they  can drag their kill into the tree so other things like Hyenas don’t eat it.

Turtles

Turtles are reptiles.

Turtles have a hard shell that protects them like a shield, this upper shell is called a ‘carapace’.

Turtles also have a lower shell called a ‘plastron’.

Many turtle species (not all) can hide their heads inside their shells when attacked by predators.

Turtles have existed for around 215 million years.

Like other reptiles, turtles are cold blooded.

The largest turtle is the leatherback sea turtle, it can weigh over 900 kg! (2000 lb)

Turtles lay eggs.

In some species of turtle the temperature determines if the egg will develop into a male or female, lower temperatures lead to a male while higher temperatures lead to a female.

Some turtles lay eggs in the sand and leave them to hatch on their own. The young turtles make their way to the top of the sand and scramble to the water while trying to avoid predators.

Sea turtles have special glands which help remove salt from the water they drink.
